Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) run by Purbanchal University, is of 4 years divided into 8 semesters of six months each. It is designed to produce advanced manpower in several managerial positions with a proficiency in marketing, room division and food & beverage. The primary focus of this course is to deal with the contemporary issues arising in the hotel and hospitality industry day by day. The main objective of this course is to build a rewarding and fulfiling career in the hospitality management sector.
Altogether BHM at Purbanchal University consists of 144 credit hours. Principle of Management, Housekeeping, Food Production, Fundamentals of Tourism and Hospitality, Food Science and Nutrition, Principles of Accounting, Business Communication, Food and Beverage services etc are some of the subject matters to which students studying BHM should cope. Similarly, every student should undertake a project and internship in the last semester.
