Tribhuvan University(TU)

The Bachelor of Hotel Management(BHM) program of Tribhuvan university lasts for 4 years (8 semesters). It has been designed to prepare the students to enter the hospitality industry at the supervisory and managerial level in the area of hotel operations. Similarly, TU has been offering hotel management in more than 10 Hotel management colleges in Nepal. Every year Tribhuvan University enrol more than 600 students in the program. Upon graduation, the student of Bachelor of Hotel Management at Tribhuvan University will be able to:

  • work as a supervisor in the hotel and catering industry with enough management knowledge.
  • apply economical measures for a prosperous economy and success of business procedures.
  • become a successful entrepreneur in small/medium size enterprise.
  • handle hotel operations professionally.

Admission Requirements in BHM of Tribhuvan University

Students who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations from the recognized academic institutes with second division (securing 45% and above) or 1.8 CGPA are eligible to enrol in this program.

Required documents

  • Certificate of all examinations passed.
  • Equivalency, Transfer and Character Certificates
  • Two recent passports size photographs.
  • Must have secured 40% marks in CMAT exam conducted by T.U.

Besides this, applicants will be required to sit for personal interviews and group discussions as well.
